Appeals Court Backs EPT Concord in Concord Associates Agreement Case



A US appeals court ruled and only resort operator EPR Resorts, previously known as EPT Concord. The organization manages the construction and operation for the Montreign Resort into the Adelaar area in New York that could host the casino that is montreign. The court ruling had been against real estate designer Louis Cappelli and Concord Associates.

Back 1999, the designer’s Concord Associates purchased a site that is 1,600-acre to create a casino resort. In 2007, the entity required money of $162 million, lucky nugget casino gratuit which it borrowed through the previous EPT. In order to secure its loan, it utilized vast majority of its home as collateral.

Although Concord Associates did not repay its loan, it could proceed along with its plan for the launch of the casino but for a smaller slice associated with previously bought web site. Yet, it had to fund its development in the form of a master credit agreement, under which any construction loan needs to have been fully guaranteed by Mr. Cappelli himself.

Concord Associates failed in this, too, and in 2011 proposed to issue a high-yield relationship totaling $395 million. EPT declined and Concord Associates brought the matter to court arguing that their proposition complied because of the contract between the two entities.

Neighborhood Culinary Union Berating Cosmopolitan Tourists in Las Vegas

UPDATE: October 25, 2013 After the release of these videos where Culinary Union Local 226 members were seen regularly throwing epithets and abuse that is verbal tourists entering the Cosmopolitan the union’s protests have been placed on hold until Nov. 1. The group encompasses some 55,000 bartenders, maids and food servers in Las Vegas, and happens to be at odds about issues such as healthcare, job security, compensation and even successorship, ie., what happens if Cosmopolitan gets offered to another ongoing company by Deutsche Bank at some point.

The protests have already been costing taxpayers an average of $2,600 in extra authorities patrols, in line with the Alliance to Protect Nevada Jobs, a group that is dedicated to placing an end to the union’s assaults on tourists.

Union organizers say they will resume those things on Nov. 1, however.

Canadian Hospital Lotteries Called ‘Harmful’ By Expert



Hospital-sponsored lotteries seem like a win-win, but will they be? One expert says ‘no.’

Many hospitals that are canadian lotteries which can be used as fundraisers. Prizes ranging from large cash benefits to property and cars receive down to fortunate champions, while the proceeds are used to offer the medical operations at the hospitals.

For many, this appears like a proposition that is win-win. But at least one name that is big the Canadian medical industry thinks that these lotteries could be a lot more dangerous than people assume.

Health Journal Editor Speaks Out

Into the most recent problem of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, editor-in-chief Dr. John Fletcher penned an editorial saying that hospitals choosing to perform these lotteries should take care to ensure they truly are protecting players who have reached risk for problem gambling when they want to reside as much as their social obligations.

‘It is contradictory for legislation to ban hospitals from selling one potentially harmful, but legal, addictive item on the premises tobacco while allowing them to actively market another lotteries,’ wrote Dr. Fletcher. ‘Have we lost our compass that is moral to an extent that we are blinded to our duty to ‘first do no harm’ by the attraction of easy revenue?’

Well-Known Vietnamese Singer Kim Tu Long Gamble Wrong Time



Popular Vietnamese folk opera performer Kim Tu Long may have gambled too long at a recent post-performance foray.
